Mediation

Once the disputants have chosen mediation and decided upon a mediator, it is usual to sign a mediation agreement. Our mediation agreements are here. There is much to be said for a preliminary conference before the mediation begins. A typical agenda for a preliminary conference is here.

If agreement is reached at the mediation, it is usual to put it in writing before everybody leaves, whether or not it is necessary later to have a formal legal document prepared.
