Alan’s Fees
Alan's policy is to charge approximately the equivalent of the hourly fee of a partner in a leading law firm in the country in which the mediation or arbitration takes place, plus local taxes where appropriate, and the cost of any necessary expenses such as travel and accommodation. We do not charge for communication or photocopying. We require parties to disputes to deposit with us their share of the estimated fees in advance. Afterwards, we either refund any surplus or invoice any shortfall. Alan's current hourly rate in Australia is $A660 per hour plus GST. In the UK and elsewhere in Europe his fees are £400 per hour.
